Who we are
The Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority is responsible for developing strategies aimed at preserving Emirati heritage and craftsmanship, and consolidating the values of national identity and heritage values in society, in addition to documenting heritage practices, and conducting studies and research related to literature and heritage, in line with the cultural heritage strategy in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
The Authority is responsible for managing and organizing heritage festivals, exhibitions and programs inside and outside the emirate, in coordination with the relevant authorities. It also sponsors, promotes and documents poetry in its various forms; whether Nabati or classical, and reviews studies and publications related to the oral history of the emirate, the spoken dialects in it, and the content of poems and written, visual and audio materials related to the leadership and the nation.

To consolidate our authentic values across all segments of society by promoting the practice, participation, and awareness of heritage, and by transferring it through generations to guarantee its sustainability.
The vision and strategy of the Authority aim at strengthening the sense of loyalty and belonging through the practice of the authentic Emirati heritage. The Authority also works toward the reinforcement of traditional values, notably allegiance and loyalty to the nation and the leadership.
