The battle for rhyming words had made its first five "victims" on Tuesday night at Al Raha Beach Theatre in Abu Dhabi. The 20 finalists who made it to the seventh Prince of Poets live broadcasted competition are now 15.

Al Marzoum Protected Area for Hunting concluded last week its second season, with a turnout that surpassed all expectations. The hunting season started in mid-November 2016 and went on until mid-February 2017.



Nearly 1500 people gathered at Al Raha Beach Theatre in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday night and hundreds of thousands more turned on the Baynounah and Al Emarat TV channels at 10 pm to watch the first episode of Prince of Poets 2017.


The final 20 poets who made it to the televised Prince of Poets competition were announced for  the first time on Monday, February 20th, ahead of the first episode of the seventh Prince of Poets.


The Cultural Programs and Heritage Festivals Committee - Abu Dhabi revealed to the media the list of 42 contestants who were selected out of 150 poets to take part in the Prince of Poets competition, in its 7th season.


For the 14th year, the green light is on for the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX), which runs longer this year, from three to four days, with Emirati heritage and sustainable hunting in its poll positions.


ABU DHABI – For the first time in history, the total annual breeding of the International Fund for Houbara Conservation (IFHC) exceeded the global target of 50,000 birds, to reach 53,743 Houbara chicks in the current year.


The registration for participation in the "Prince of Poets" competition, in its 7th season (2016-2017), would run until the 30th of September, 2016, the Cultural Programs and Heritage Festivals Committee – Abu Dhabi announced.
